Training Qualifications UK are extremely proud of the strategic partnership we have with The Skills Network, helping our centres to drive efficiencies and maximise their Adult Education Budget. The Skills Network, which specialises in online distance learning, has helped FE Colleges and Independent Training Providers nationally, to develop skills and create opportunities for all.
Designed in-house by industry experts, their learning resources are used by over 200 colleges and numerous private training providers nationwide to assist with the delivery of learning, either via their award-winning online learning platform EQUAL or in paper based format.

First Aid
A first aider is someone who has attended a first aid course and is able to help a person that has been injured or taken ill before the arrival of medical professionals like paramedics, doctors or nurses.
Our well-written and illustrated first aid manual complements the hands-on practical training you provide to learners and supports the key knowledge necessary for them to be a confident first aider in any situation.
The manual covers topics ranging from breathing problems to bones, muscle and joint injuries and medical emergencies.
Paediatric First Aid
A paediatric first aider is someone who has attended a suitable paediatric first aid course and has the knowledge, skills and experience to help infants and children who have been injured or taken ill before the arrival of medical professionals like paramedics, doctors or nurses.
Our Paediatric First Aid Manual complements the hands-on practical training you provide to learners and supports the key knowledge necessary for them to be a confident paediatric first aider in all situations.
CPR and AED
An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is a lifesaving device which gives anyone, trained or untrained, the ability to deliver a potentially lifesaving shock of electricity to a victim of cardiac arrest.
Designed to be the perfect complement to any CPR/AED course, our manual complements the hands-on practical training you provide to learners and supports the key knowledge they need to be a confident AED user.
The manual covers topics ranging from understanding AEDs to basic life support and using an AED.
Fire Safety
Companies should adopt a clear fire safety strategy, including risk assessments and training which involve all members of staff. This will create an environment in which individuals understand the dangers associated with fires. The truth is that most fires are preventable, and the fires that do occur in the workplace typically stem from laziness, negligence, irresponsibility, or a lack of competence in fire safety practices.
The manual covers topics ranging from how fire risk is controlled at work to fire safety management and the role of the fire warden.
Food Safety
Remember there are not only moral obligations but legal implications to not maintaining the highest of food safety standards which could include fines, closure or even going to prison!
Food safety is a serious business, and we have produced a Food Safety Manual which compliments both the instructor-led and e-learning courses, supporting the underpinning knowledge necessary to be a competent food handler.
The manual covers topics ranging from personal responsibility for food safety to keeping food safe and personal hygiene.
As part of our flexible and responsive approach to qualification development and resources, we can offer training providers personalised first aid manuals.

Option 1
Our graphic design team can create your covers at no extra cost. All you will need to do is provide us with a high-resolution copy of your company logo (preferably in PNG or PSD format) and submit to us along with the contact details you wish to add to the back cover of the books.
Once we have your logo, we will tailor the colour palette of the book to match the dominant colour in the logo, completing a sleek and professional manual cover designed for you.
On social media? Why not add your company details so that learners can find you online before, during and after their course.
Option 2
Already have some cover artwork ready to go? Not a problem. Submit your artwork to us complete with bleed and, subject to our reviews, we’ll submit to the printers with your order of manuals.

Printing Schedule
So now that you’ve found what you’ve been looking for, you need to know when you can get them. We offer personalised manual print runs throughout the year, please enquire to find out when the next print run will be using the contact form at the bottom of the page.
When you submit your personalised manual request, we will be in touch to confirm quantities, start the artwork process and confirm which print run your order will fall into. In most cases it will be the next available run subject to timing of the order and confirmation of payment
Assessment Records
For some vocational short courses, exams are unavoidable. For others, such as First Aid and Fire Safety we always encourage portfolio based assessment. This process allows your learners to demonstrate their practical skills in a stress-free learning environment by using the TQUK assessment records specifically designed for these courses.
Written to meet the assessment criteria of the specific qualification, the 16-32 page booklets are a vital component of the no-hassle TQUK experience. Our assessment records are designed to be used in conjunction with the TQUK course manuals but they can be used in conjunction with the qualification specification as well.
We offer two versions for TQUK centres: free downloadable assessment records and printed colour booklets, which start at £0.50. We have printed assessment records which cover the following qualifications:
- TQUK Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
- TQUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
- TQUK Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automated External Defibrillation (RQF)
